Introduction
Arden Technologies, Inc. (“Arden”) is an AI-powered audit automation platform that helps compliance and financial auditors perform SOX ITGC (IT General Controls) compliance testing. Arden automates evidence gathering and management, control testing, result summarization, and PCAOB-compliant workpaper generation for public companies and pre-IPO companies.
This Privacy Notice describes Arden’s policies and practices regarding its collection and use of your personal data, and sets forth your privacy rights. We recognize that information privacy is an ongoing responsibility, and so we will from time to time update this Privacy Notice as we undertake new personal data practices or adopt new privacy policies.
Data Protection
Arden is headquartered in San Francisco, California, in the United States. How We Collect and Use Your Personal Information
Arden collects personal information about its website visitors and customers. With a few exceptions, this information is generally limited to:

We use this information to provide prospects and customers with services. We do not sell personal information to anyone and only share it with third parties who are facilitating the delivery of our services.
From time to time, Arden receives personal information about individuals from third parties. Typically, information collected from third parties will include further details on your employer or industry. We may also collect your personal data from a third party website (e.g., LinkedIn).
Use of Arden Services
When customers use Arden’s platform for audit testing, they may upload data that includes personal information of their employees or personnel, such as names, job titles, department information, employment dates, and system access records. This data is uploaded by and at the direction of our customers, who act as the data controllers. Arden processes this data solely to provide the audit automation services requested by the customer and does not use this data for any other purpose.
Use of the Arden Website
As is true of most other websites, Arden’s website (ardentech.ai) collects certain information automatically and stores it in log files. The information may include internet protocol (IP) addresses, the region or general location where your computer or device is accessing the internet, browser type, operating system, and other usage information about the use of Arden’s website, including a history of the pages you view.
We use this information to help us design our site to better suit our users’ needs. We may also use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server and to administer our website, analyze trends, track visitor movements, and gather broad demographic information that assists us in identifying visitor preferences.

Transferring Personal Data to the U.S.
Arden has its headquarters in the United States. Information we collect about you will be processed in the United States. By using Arden’s services, you acknowledge that your personal information will be processed in the United States. The United States has not sought nor received a finding of “adequacy” from the European Union under Article 45 of the GDPR. Pursuant to Article 46 of the GDPR, Arden is providing for appropriate safeguards by entering binding, standard data protection clauses, enforceable by data subjects in the EEA and the UK.

Security of Your Information
Arden takes reasonable and appropriate measures to protect personal information from loss, misuse and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction, taking into account the risks involved in the processing and the nature of the personal data. Arden’s security measures include data encryption, firewalls, data use and access limitations for personnel, and physical access controls to our facilities.
Data Storage and Retention
Your personal data is stored by Arden on its servers and on the servers of the cloud-based database management services Arden engages, located in the United States. Arden retains service data for the duration of the customer’s business relationship with Arden and for a period of time thereafter, to analyze the data for Arden’s own operations, and for historical and archiving purposes associated with Arden’s services.
Customer audit data (HR records, access logs, and other evidence uploaded for compliance testing) is retained only for the duration necessary to provide the requested services and is deleted upon contract termination or customer request, unless a longer retention period is required by law.
All personal data that Arden controls may be deleted upon verified request from Data Subjects or their authorized agents.
